1. Nature of the Service
Methuen Residents Directory is a private reference to public record indexes, record custodians, and historical directory collections in Methuen, Massachusetts. It neither hosts government records nor acts for a city, county, court, library, or archive.
2. Permitted Use
Use this service and linked material only for lawful purposes. You may not use it or any result to:
- Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm a person.
- Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order.
- Commit fraud, impersonation, or identity theft.
- Make a credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other FCRA-regulated decision.
- Systematically scrape, copy, or republish material at scale.
- Interfere with the service, its security, or its availability.
3. No Consumer Reporting Role

Government portals, libraries, archives, sponsored search services, and other third parties set their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their content, pricing, availability, or handling of submitted data.
5. No Warranty
The service is supplied as is and as available. We make no warranty that material is complete, current, accurate, or uninterrupted, or that an external portal will return a correct result.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from use of the service or a linked resource, including decisions based on a record.
7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the operators harmless from claims, demands, and reasonable attorneys' fees resulting from misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original writing, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting brief attributed excerpts is permitted. Republishing entire pages or systematically copying content is not permitted.
9. Term Updates
We may post an updated version of these terms. Continued use after a posting indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

We may restrict or block access, without notice, when a user violates these terms or abuses the service.
11. Massachusetts Law
Massachusetts law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The public records described by this reference remain subject to Massachusetts Public Records Law, M.G.L. c.66, §10, its exemptions in M.G.L. c.4, §7(26), and 950 CMR 32.00 et seq.
12. Severability
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
